Bellissimo e colorato manifesto originale della personale di Hsiao Chin presso la Galleria Il Canale, Venezia, 1966. Artista cinese, naturalizzato taiwanese, Hsiao Chin svolse un ruolo fondamentale nella diffusione dell'arte taiwanese sulla scena internazionale. Organizzò infatti più di 30 mostre all'estero con il gruppo che fondò nel 1956, chiamato Dongfang huahui.
Come si vede dall'opera raffigurata sul poster Hsiao Chin era interessato all'arte astratta, e impegnato a fondere con essa la visione di uomo, universo e natura del pensiero orientale. L'artista utilizzò spesso colori tipici dell'arte occidentale per spiegare la filosofia orientale.
